An Iowa mom whose daughter was murdered watched as the Governor signed a tougher anti-domestic abuse bill into law Thursday morning.
"And, this is an awesome day. It's a very awesome day!"
Sheila Lynch says her daughter, TereseAnn Marie, was killed by the man she was trying to divorce.
"This bill is going to save lives. And, we couldn't help my daughter, but, we're going to help others down the road. And, it's amazing!"
The new law makes it illegal to attach a GPS device to someone else's car without permission, a recent tactic of stalkers. But, it also allows the use of GPS tracking devices on domestic abusers by police.
