John Deere recalls 25-thousand lawn tractors

(Moline, Illinois)  John Deere has announced a national recall of 25,000 lawn tractors and service part transmission, because of a potential crash hazard.

The John Deere D-105 lawn tractors are being recalled because the transmission can fail, potentially leading to a crash.

The tractors were made at the Deere plant in Moline, Illinois and were sold nationwide at Home Depot, Lowes, and John Deere dealers from February 2016 through July 2017.

Those who have the recalled tractor are asked to stop using it immediately and contact your closest John Deere dealer for a free repair.

An estimated 25,000 tractors and 500 transmission service parts are included in the recall.
