You and I talked last week about the controversial appointment of Iowan Sam Clovis to the top scientific post at the United States Department Of Agriculture. It's controversial because Clovis is a man-made climate change skeptic.
Now, the Union Of Concerned Scientists claim that the Clovis appointment is illegal because a previous farm bill stated that a nominee must be able to demonstrate a scientific background.
