I was pleased to attend the Paul McCartney show in Des Moines on July 21 and it was one of the more special concert experiences in my life. Macca played for three hours, never taking a sip of water or wiping his brow. And he rocked - including engaging in some memorable guitar soloing during an Abbey Road medley.
Given the non-stop energy I witnessed (by the way, the dude is 75), I am not surprised that Paul McCartney will play drums on a song on the Foo Fighters new album.
It is not the first time that Macca and Dave Grohl have teamed up. Hear "Cut Me Some Slack" featuring the Grohl, McCartney, and the two other surviving members of Nirvana.
Foo Fighters will perform in Des Moines on November 10.
