We talked tonight about some good news, like the continued expansion of 4G cellphone service in Iowa, but spent most of our time with the case for a syllabus for America. We need high-school graduates to know (a) how to manage their own finances, (b) how to understand the bigger economy, and (c) how to understand a family business -- because every family is a business, even if every business isn't run by a family.

In case you missed the show, it's available for on-demand listening.

Thanks for listening this week!
