Duane Flagel of the Concept By Iowa Hearing Aid Center was our special guest just after the 7:30 news this morning.  Duane will once again be in the WHO Radio Crystal Studios at the Iowa State Fair and will be giving away a free pair of hearing instruments every day of the fair.  Stop by and get registered!  Also try on a pair of the new Linx hearing instruments.  You can get a free full hearing screening in their new mobile lab at the fair as well.  It's the former motor home of Nascar star Richard Petty!  Get all the info at the Crystal Studios.

Janice Novekia of All Steel and Kelly Coenan of All Makes Office (500 E. Court Avenue) were our special guests just after the 8:30 news.  The WHO Radio studio has chairs that have decided to go up and stay up or go down and stay down or the backs won't stay solid...it's time for new chairs.  The great folks at All Steel and All Makes are going to be supplying us with fantastic new chairs with a lifetime warranty!  They can even put the Hawkeye logo on them...or in our case, the WHO Radio logo!  We were really impressed the the comfort of the chairs and the ease of adjustment.  Van & Bonnie listeners will receive 25% off any one showroom item...good thru the end of the year!

Be sure to check out the WHO Radio webpage every day to find the Phantom of the Opera "mask" and click on it for your chance to win tickets to the show!  You can enter once per day!

This morning Van read a heart-felt letter from Cindi asking for help in finding her 72 year-old mom a job in the Ankeny area.  She just recently moved to the area to help her daughter with her kids.  Both Cindi and her husband are active duty and the husband was sent to Texas for the next 2.5 years for military school.  The number to call if you can help is 515-991-6453.

Tomorrow on Van and Bonnie, we'll have one last set of Knoxville Nationals tickets to give away....tune in to win!

Have a great day!
