Happy Labor Day!  The parade begins at the Capital at 11AM...goes down Grand Avenue to the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

Thank you to all of you who phoned in, texted in or Facebooked us your rain gauge amounts this morning....2/12" on the SE side of Des Moines, 3 3/4" in Pleasant Hill, 1" in Oskaloosa, 1 3/4" in Milo, 1 1/2" east of Monroe, 2.5" in Nevada, 2" in Grimes, 1 1/2" in Liberty Center, 2.1" in Clemons and 2" in Mitchellville were some of the higher amounts.

Congratulations to the winners of our Phantom of the Opera tickets and Mums from Hy-Vee!  We'll have more tomorrow!
