Thank you to Jenna Winzenburg for filling in for Van this morning on such short notice!  Van is "under the weather" and let me know after 4:30PM yesterday that he would not be in this morning...and Jenna who works til 7PM graciously agreed to come in this morning and will be back on with Simon again this afternoon!  What a woman!

If you missed this morning's program, you missed your chance to win Science Center passes courtesy of the Iowa Engineering Society.  We learned this morning that when a flea jumps, the rate of acceleration is 20 times that of the space shuttle during launch and becaue of thermal expansion, the Eiffel Tower is 15 cm taller in the Summer!  Tune in tomorrow to learn more and win Science Center family 4-packs!

We'll also have more Dunkin' Donuts for you to win!

Be aware that the National Weather Service has us under a blizzard watch foor Thursday!  We're looking at rain, changing to freezing rain, changing to snow, at times 1-2" of snow per hour.  Right now, if it stays on track, Jeriann is calling for around 5 inches in the metro area.  Winds are supposed to pick up in the afternoon and evening with wind gusts up to 50 mph!

Talk to you tomorrow!
