Hy-Vee has once again puchased the Grand Champion 4-H Market Steer, the Grand Champion FFA Market Hog and the Grand Champion FFA Market Lamb from the Iowa State Fair Sale of Champions!  This year, Hy-Vee and WHO Radio are offering those of you who are associated with an area agency or group that feeds the needy a chance to nominate your group to receive a package of beef, pork and lamb!  Once nominations close, the WHO Radio listeners will be asked to vote for the agencies or groups they want to win, as well as register to win a package of meat for themselves!  For all of the information, go to www.whoradio.com.  The contest will be up later today!

Thank you to Simon Conway for filling in for Van today!  He will be on this afternoon for his regular show from 4-7PM....thus broadcasting from both ends of the clock today...what a trooper!  Simon was teaching me some "British words" today....be sure to watch the video and check it out!

The Van "fill-ins" for the rest of the week are:  Tuesday - Mark Dorenkamp (new guy on The Big Show); Wednesday - Jeriann Ritter, meteorologist for TV13; Thursday - Josh Martinez, evening show host for KISS 107.5; Friday - Brian Gongol, from The Wise Guys and The Brian Gongol Show; and Monday - Dave Campbell and Craig Ruegsegger of Wood Magazine!

Josh Martinez, by the way, is a young man from New York City!  He knows nothing about Iowa or agriculture...he's going to get "educated" on Thursday with all sorts of fun activities.  You won't want to miss this!  We are going too stream the show live so you can watch Josh...I'll get the address to you once I know for sure how to access it.  A huge "thank you" to the FFA for their help on Thursday's show!

Have a great day!

Bonnie
