A young Des Moines man was killed Sunday evening when the vehicle in which he was riding lost control on Highway 5 in Polk County.
It was because of icy conditions, says Iowa State Patrol.
18 year old Malik Rucker died of his injuries and another passenger, 41 year old Aisha Rucker, was taken to the hospital.
ISP says it happened on the overpass where Highway 28 crosses Highway 5.
