Des Moines Police say they've arrested a man in connection with the fatal hit and run accident last Thursday at East 29th Street and Madison.
Charged with Vehicular Homicide by Reckless Driving is 33 year old Grant Uhe. He was arrested by investigators about 5:45 Tuesday night.
A northbound pickup truck crashed into a westbound car on April 19th around 9:54am. The driver in the passenger car, 19 year old Tyler Wilcox, died at the hospital.
Investigators say Uhe was driving about 75 miles per hour in a 30 mph speed zone at the time of the crash.
