DES MOINES, Iowa- Two men already serving prison time for robbing and severely beating a Des Moines man, are now charged with his murder.
Mike Wasike suffered brain damage, during the beating in January of 2013. He died January 22nd, 2018.
Terrance Cheeks and Leshaun Murray, who were both 15 years old in 2013, were both convicted of First Degree Robbery in the case. Today the Des Moines Police Department and the Polk County Attorneys Office announced that Cheeks and Murray will now be charged with First Degree Murder as well.
