A pause, shall we say, in #plant18

Rains across much of the state slowing things a bit and leading to views like this out the back window:

The folks at Hingtgen Farms say we "think the dogs are watching progress but aren't sure,":

Signs of growth shown at the dug-up seed has sprouted but Don says they need a drink near Danville:

The manure application has been made into the cereal rye cover crop on Jason Russell's farm in Linn County:

It's essential to have a good helper and Kevin in Solon says he's teaching his son, Allen, well:

Kevin also says "last night, from where I was planting, I could see 3 -12 row planters and 1 -24 row planter running, estimating about  90 acres per hour was getting planted."  From North Central Iowa, "With 30 in of snow since spring started people starting to get in the fields but it looks like rain on our parade" as they clean out a pit:

Looks like much of the stuff spread on The Big Show ever day :).  Thank you for all of the pictures and please keep 'em coming to the Dupont Pioneer A-Series Text Line, 515.999.5491.
