DES MOINES, Iowa- Joseph Finn has been sentenced to 30-years in prison, for his role in the abuse of his adopted children, eventually leading to the death of Natalie Finn.
Finn pleaded guilty earlier to three counts of participating in a felony causing serious injury, and was given the maximum sentence of 10-years in prison on each charge.
Finn's adopted daughter Natalie died in 2016, in her West Des Moines home.
The cause of death was cardiac failure, caused by starvation and extensive abuse.
Joseph Finn's ex-wife Nicole, was convicted of First Degree Murder in Natalie's death, and is serving a mandatory life sentence.
