Name of Centerville, Iowa fire victim released

CENTERVILLE, Iowa-  Authorities are releasing the name of a man, whose body was found after a house fire in Centerville last weekend.  

Crews were called out to fight a fire Saturday, they found the body of 51-year-old Timothy Pasa in the residence.   

The case is currently under investigation by the Centerville Police Department, Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, and the State Fire Marshal’s Office.   

Law enforcement believes there is no immediate danger to the public.  Anyone with information related to this investigation should contact Centerville Chief of Police Tom Demry at 641-437-7100.
