A house fire in rural Brandon claimed the life of a father early Friday morning.
The Benton County Sheriff's Office said 37 year old Chauncey Raue had gotten out of the home but for some reason ran back in.
Benton County Sheriff Ronald Tippett said it may have been to look for his family... but he never made it out.
His wife Brittany and three sons survived the fire.
One of the boys is being treated for burns in Iowa City.
Members of the family's church are asking those who wish to help, to make a donation to the family's GoFundMe page.
