(MASON CITY, Iowa) Mason City Police say a man, who violated a no-contact order, was stabbed by a woman in self-defense Monday, May 28th.
Police say a woman who lived at the residence at 1111 East State Street, stabbed 30-year-old Godfrey Dawson Junior, with a knife, during a fight Monday afternoon.
Dawson was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Dawson has been arrested on three outstanding warrants, and now faces a new violation of the no-contact order. He's been taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail.
