IOWA CITY, Iowa - Two nights in a row, Iowans had a spot to compete on the new season of MasterChef on Fox.
On Wednesday night's Part 1 Premier, West Des Moines college student Samantha Daily was the first of two Iowans to compete on the new season of MasterChef with Chef Gordon Ramsay on Fox TV.
On Thursday in the Part 2 Premier, Iowa City Optometrist Mark Houk got his chance to compete, hoping to move forward in the show and ultimately win the $250,000 cash prize.
