Gary Slater joined Van and Bonnie by phone this morning to fill us in on the 500' Table that will be on the Grand Avenue Concourse during the 1st Sunday of the Iowa State Fair. The commodity groups are sponsoring this event for people to dine and ask questions of Iowa Farmers at the table. The event will be catered by the Iowa Machine Shed Restaurant. To get your place at the table, apply at a commodity group (Iowa Beef, Pork, Soy, Turkey, Corn, Egg) or at www.iowastatefair.org. You'll have to tell them why you deserve a spot at the table!
