Sights of the final day of Tractor Ride

It was a beautiful morning along the Mississippi River in Bettendorf as the sun rises on the final day of Tractor Ride.  After about 1.3 inches of rain fell in a very short amount of time Tuesday afternoon, it was also time to dry out:

The morning ride took us across the Arsenal Bridge to the Rock Island Arsenal and then to brunch at the Taxslayer Center:

Turns out the Tayslayer Center sits on the site of the first John Deere plant in the Quad Cities:

The Machine Shed doing the cooking nearly 40 years after Mike Whalen started the now-famous 'Restaurant for the American Farmer':

Is there much that's more relaxing than this view from the Taxslayer Center railing:

And just like that, we wrap up another succesful WHO Radio Great Iowa Tractor Ride.  Bob, Andy and Secretary Mike Naig sign an arrow for the record books:

A sincere thank you to each and every person who worked hard to make the ride work and to all of the riders and support for joining us.  See you next year!
