OTTUMWA, Iowa - The 5-year-old girl found unresponsive in her Ottumwa home last week died from strangulation.
The Iowa State Medical Examiner's office says an autopsy shows Cloe Chandler died from ligature strangulation.
The girl's mother, Kelsie Thomas is already charged with First Degree Murder. Police say she confessed last week to killing her daughter.
