Just before 3:30 Wednesday morning Des Moines Police and Fire responded to the 1900 block of Kenyon Avenue where a car, crashed into a tree.
The woman behind the wheel was the only one in the car and first responders reported the woman had severe injuries and no pulse when they arrived, but they attempted CPR and rushed her to Iowa Methodist where she died.
At this time, her name has not been released.
