DES MOINES, Iowa- Flags will be lowered to half-staff starting this Friday morning, thru sunset Saturday, in honor of former Congressman Leonard Boswell, who died last Friday. A visitation will be held this Friday, August 24th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Community Christ Church in Lamoni.
The funeral will be at Saturday morning at 10:30 at the Shaw Center at Graceland University in Lamoni.
Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Lamoni, with full military honors, followed by a party at the family farm in Davis City.
The family has stated in lieu of flowers, donations may be directed toward a scholarship at Graceland University in Boswell's name, for agriculture students.
