After a serious accident near Winthrop between a car and a combine on Tuesday:
This was sent to our Pioneer A-Series Soybean Text Line at 515.999.5491. The teenage driver of the car had to be extricated and was air-lifted to the hospital, a passenger was treated for injuries and the driver of the combine, Donald Cook of Lamont, was treated at the scene and we're glad to hear he's going to be ok. Our friendly reminder is one of patience, everybody involved wants to get home safe to their families at the end of the day. These are big, heavy machines which move slowly but do have a right to be on the road so let's all be respectful and share the road safely.
