Traffic on the westbound lanes of I-235 were backed up
A crash on Interstate 235 at 7th Street had traffic backed up all the way to 2nd Avenue at 6pm.
Traffic had to reroute before 2nd Avenue after police closed the off-ramp.
At least one person was hospitalized in the crash between 5th and 6th streets on I-235.
