WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - People in 19 cities will receive free holiday hams from Hy-Vee and Hormel.
The companies are partnering with first responders for the second-annual Hy-Vee and Hormel Hams for the Holidays.
The 5.2050 Hormel® Cure 81® hams will be distributed to families in need throughout the company’s eight-state region.
The donations come from the Hormel® Cure 81® Hams for Hunger™ program that was founded in 1989.
The ham giveaways will begin at the times listed at each location, and continue for two hours, or while supplies last.
