INDIANOLA, Iowa - A bank in Indianola was robbed on Thursday afternoon and police are looking for a suspect.
Officers were called to the City State Bank at 1510 North 1st Street just before 2 pm.
Witnesses say a black man with a gun robbed the bank and made it out with money. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and jeans and police say he was wearing makeup for a disguise. He is believed to be 5’6” to 5’8” and 160-170 pounds.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
