WEST DES MOINES, Iowa- West Des Moines Police will be conducting a special traffic enforcement starting Saturday, December 22nd, through Tuesday, December 25th.
Officers will focus on all seat belt use and drunk or drugged drivers.
The Iowa D-O-T reports there have been 326-traffic deaths on Iowa roads this year.
The increased traffic enforcement is intended to serve as a reminder for drivers to obey all traffic laws and to help keep Iowa roadways safe.
