Iowa State Cyclone fans live it up in San Antonio, Texas

SAN ANTONIO, Texas- Thousands of ISU Cyclone football fans are in San Antonio, Texas getting ready for Friday night's Alamo Bowl against the Washington State Cougars.  Fans packed the River Walk in San Antonio last night for a huge pep-rally.   Coaches, players, and the ISU Marching band floated into the rally on barges.  Head Coach Matt Campbell and some players also fired up the crowd, along with the ISU cheer squad.

An estimated 25-thousand ISU fans traveled to Texas for tomorrow night's game.

The ISU game will be on our sister station, 100.3 The Bus, you can hear additional reports on 1460 KXNO as well.   WHO Radio will carry the Iowa game on New Year's Day.

The Hawkeye football team arrived in Tampa, Florida yesterday.   Iowa players Mississippi State in the Outback bowl on January 1st.
