DES MOINES, Iowa- The Iowa State Patrol clocked a driver going 116 miles per hour on this rainy Thursday morning at the east mix master in Des Moines. The driver told the trooper they were speeding because they were late for work.
The Patrol shared this picture, as well a reminder for drivers to slow down, put the phone down and buckle up.
