DES MOINES, Iowa - Police have identified the victims of what they say is a double-homicide.
54-year-old Gaylord George Jolly, Jr. and 49-year-old Tracy Linn Adams were found stabbed to death Friday in a home in the 3900 block of East 26th Street.
Police investigators identify the two as brother and sister. Their nephew and son, 30-year-old Joshua Lee Adams is charged with two counts of first degree murder in their deaths.
Gaylord George Jolly, Jr. is Joshua Adams' uncle. Tracy Adams is his mother.
Police were called just after 3:30 p.m. Friday to the home on report of an assault. Officers say Jolly and Adams were already deceased when they arrived.
The case has been referred to the Polk County Attorney's Office for prosecution.
