WASHINGTON, D.C. - A couple of new Iowans join the House of Representatives today.
Democrats Cindy Axne of the 3rd Congressional District and Abby Finkenauer of the 1st Congressional Disctict are being sworn in at the nation's capitol.
The women are among the 102 women being sworn into the House of Representatives today, a record number.
The two new Representatives join incumbent Iowa Congress members Democratic Rep. Dave Loebsack of the 2nd Congressional District and Republican Rep. Steve King of the 4th Congressional District.
