It was Day One of the 116th Congress yesterday. Nancy Pelosi became Speaker again. The passed Bills to 'open the Government' even though they all know those Bill have ZERO chance of passing the Senate or being signed by the President. And they introduced Articles of Impeachment for President Trump.
Meanwhile newly minted Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, was addressing supporters last night. One of the first Muslim women ever elected had this to say about the President: "People love you and you win. And when your son looks at you and says, 'Momma, look you won. Bullies don't win.' And I said, 'Baby, they don't, because we’re gonna go in there and we’re gonna impeach the mother***er.'”
Hmm - nice way to talk to your kid, but maybe that's just me. I'm sure her family is very proud.
The big question is, will they get him?
