MONTOUR, Iowa - Police say a 22-year-old man who led a chase with tribal police has died in a crash in Tama County, in the town of Montour.
Iowa State Patrol says the crash happened at 308 Northwood Drive at 12:11 a.m. Friday.
Royce Grayson Timberwolf of Montour was driving his Kia Optima northbound on Northwood Drive, reportedly trying to get away from Meskwaki Nation Police.
The State Patrol says Timberwolf left the road, hit a driveway, rolled his vehicle, and was thrown out. He died at the scene.
