DES MOINES, Iowa - a nonstop series of 911 reports were coming in Saturday at midday as car skidded, slid, spun out, and crashed around central Iowa.
The Iowa 511 Department of Transportation map at 11:00 a.m. Saturday showed completely snow covered roads, including most of I-80 east and west of Des Moines and I-35 to the south.
No-Towing bans were put in place in many areas where road conditions were the worst as snow continued to fall.
