DES MOINES, Iowa - It's 75 years in prison for a Des Moines woman who scammed numerous victims out of $220-thousand dollars for selling houses she didn't really own.
The Polk County Attorney's Office says 55-year-old Vera Anaya-Hermosillo took the money from recent immigrants who ended up with no home and no money.
Most of the immigrants didn't speak English.
Anaya-Hermosillo faces deportation following her sentence.
