DES MOINES, Iowa- This week's brutal winter weather has impacted local blood supplies. LifeServe Blood Center Spokesperson Danielle West says they're down to a two-day supply for all blood types. She says in some cases, the supply is less than two days.
She says the weather has forced the cancellation of a number of local blood supplies, so they're encouraging those who wish to donate, stop by their Des Moines and Urbandale locations.
