BENTON COUNTY, Iowa - A man accused of torturing a cat has police in three Iowa counties looking for him.
Police say 30-year-old Chad Toney broke into a home in Benton County and stole his ex-roommate's cat.
But then police say he sent the owner pictures and videos of the cat being physically abused and left in the cold.
According to WHO Channel 13, investigators say the photos and videos are grounds for charges of burglary and animal abuse.
Police think Toney is driving a blue 2000 GMC and he is considered dangerous.
Anyone who has seen Toney or the vehicle should call authorities immediately.
