CEDAR COUNTY, Iowa- Eastern Iowa authorities say a rural Atalissa man died last week, after being hit in the head with a firework. The Cedar County Sheriff's Office says crews were called to 2309 Jefferson Avenue in Atalissa July 3rd, at 3 p.m. There they found 53-year-old James Don McMichael, who died at the scene.
McMichael's death has been ruled an accident.
