You'll recall that I talked to Tonya J Powers of Fox News Radio earlier this week about how to find out if YOU are due some money because of the Equifax data breach settlement. At the time, the actual settlement MONEY wasn't available yet.
Good news: you can now file a claim to get your share of a settlement from the Equifax data breach of 2017.
About 147-million people are due a portion and figuring out if you're one of them is easy. The website equifaxbreachsettlement.com is now up and running. Simply enter your last name and last six digits of your social security number to see if you're eligible. Those impacted could get 125-dollars in cash or up to 10 years of free credit monitoring. The deadline to file is January 22nd.
