Jeanne Burmeister of Prevent Blindness Iowa, joined Van and Bonnie in the WHO Radio Studios this morning to talk about their extremely fun "Shot in the Dark" golf outing! This year's outing will be August 16th at Willow Creek Golf Course. Jeanne explained how they used to use golf balls with a little hole in them where you inserted a little glow stick. Well, in past years, they've had issues with people hitting the ball in the wrong place and knocking the little glow stick out of the ball. So for the first time, they will be using an LED golf ball that lights up for 8 hours once you shine your flashlight from your phone on it! Sounds cool!
