Oh, you'll see plenty of me at the Iowa State Fair. Broadcasting from the Crystal Studios of WHO Radio on the Grand Concourse is one of my favorite things in life.
And I have my "first food" rule which I will observe on opening day. The VERY first thing at the Iowa State Fair is Pork Chop On A Stick. It also happens to be my FAVORITE food at the Fair. Here are the foods I MUST HAVE before the fair is over:
- Pork Chop On A Stick
- Peppermint Square
- Hot Beef Sundae
- Cookies In A Cup
- Corn Dog
There will be MORE foods eaten by me, mind you, but THESE are the must haves. I usually eat a corn dog on the final day of the Fair to celebrate another year of one of the nation's greatest events.
