DES MOINES, Iowa -- Only a few days after the Iowa State Fair wrapped up, they're back at work with a multi-million dollar renovation on the 4H building at the Fairgrounds.
Construction crews will be expanding the building to the east and west, and upgrading everything in-between.
The $14-million dollars in work is being partially paid for by a $6-million dollar gift from the Jacobson Foundation, other private donations, and around $5-million from the state.
The work should be done for next year's fair.
