FORT DODGE, Iowa- Fire has damaged part of the roof at Fort Dodge Correctional Facility. Firefighters were called out around 2 o'clock today. Officials say it's believed the fire started on the roof of a prison housing unit, where contractors were working. The fire was out within about a half hour.
The Iowa Department of Corrections says all prison staff, contractors, and inmates have been accounted for. There were no injuries.
