Yes, I'm in. I plan to subscribe to the new streaming service, Disney+, when it debuts on November 12th. Not only for the Disney stuff, but the Marvel and Star Wars stuff, as well. In 300 tweets, Disney+ has revealed its entire initial offerings.
I looked for the obvious movies (the Star Wars franchise and The Lion King) but then begin to search for some of the lesser-known offerings that played on a local movie theater screen when I was kid: for example, The Aristocats and Herbie Rides Again. They are on the list!
Some of the other classics you can view include:
- “Swiss Family Robinson” (both 1940 and 1960 films)
- “Miracle on 34th Street” (1947)
- “Old Yeller”
- “The Shaggy Dog”
- “Pollyanna”
- “The Love Bug”
- “Bedknobs and Broomsticks”
- “Escape To Witch Mountain”
- “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?”
- “The Sandlot”
Bonus! There’s even the “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience” from 2009! See the full list here.
