Justice League of Foods culinary school for at-risk kids!

Nick Kuhn, Executive Director of the Justice League of Food, joined Van and Bonnie in the WHO Radio Studio this morning to talk about their mission in Iowa. They are a local non-profit that educates and inspires at-risk youth in the culinary arts through job training and placement in the food and beverage industry...all while feed the homeless and hungry population. They will be hosting a tantalizing dinner series this fall called Culinary Superheroes - Fall 2019 "Local Harvest". They will feature 3 of the midwest's top chefs, along with a team of young apprentices...an evening filled with great food, warm conversation, wine or beer. The 1st dinner is October 24th, followed by November 13th, followed by December 1st. For more information, go to www.JusticeLeagueofFood.org.
