I had the opportunity to discuss the state of black-owned business in Iowa with business advocate, Abenah Imhotep. She discussed the challenges and opportunities for African-American business owners and entrepreners in our area, offering a link to the programs available through the Evelyn K. Davis Center in Des Moines, as well as her efforts in partnership with the Economic Empowerment Summit, November 1st, at Drake Unversity Law School.
