Federal Offices are closed and so are State and County offices. Many businesses are open and it is certainly true that even if you have today off, this day to honor all who served is not regarded in the same way as Memorial Day is, for example.
Should we change that? Many would argue that it is hard to honor those who served from behind your desk or in your store. Should Veterans' Day become a National Holiday?
