There's a new leader in the race to win the Iowa Caucuses. A Monmouth University poll shows South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg leading the field of Democratic presidential candidates with 22-percent support.
Former Vice President Joe Biden has 19-percent while Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren is right behind him at 18-percent. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is the only other candidate to break double digits.
The Monmouth University Poll was conducted by telephone from November 7 to 11, 2019, with 451 Iowa voters who are likely to attend the Democratic presidential caucuses in February 2020.
