COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa - COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa - A scare for a Council Bluffs couple getting into their vehicle at 7th and West Washington just before 9 a.m. Friday.
The couple was approached by a man who pointed what looked like a handgun at them and ordered them to get out of the car.
The male victim got out and saw the handgun was a toy and he told the suspect that the police were on the way. That is when the suspect, 25 year old Daniel Kennedy threw a glass bottle and a sweatshirt at the victim.
Officers arrived on the scene and were able to arrest Kennedy. He was taken to Pottawattamie County Corrections and was booked for 2nd degree robbery.
